Katherine Jean Bolduan, also called her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. Most famously, she is anchor of CNN's morning program At This Hour. She had previously been a co-host on the CNN morning programs on weekdays, New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan participated in the award-winning coverage by CNN of presidential elections 2012 and 2016. Bolduan also worked in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan was part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congress and legislative discussions, such as negotiations for raising the loan limit for federal government as well as the Super Committee's deliberations. She also worked as a general-assignment correspondent and reported on topics such as the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme court's decision regarding Obamacare and the 2009 implementation of the stimulus plan. She was hired by CNN in 2007 as a correspondent for the national news with CNN Newsource. She provided feature stories and breaking news stories to nearly 800 CNN Newsource Affiliates as a national reporter. In the past, she was a reporter at NBC News MSNBC & WTVD-TV. She is a resident of New York City, with her husband and two kids.
