Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was thought to be among the best athletes. Biles was the very first gymnast from the United States in history to have won four gold medals during one Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to win consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles grew up in Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time she and her sister Adria were adopted by their grandparents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics as when she was six years old during a school field trip to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach throughout the next 11 years. Biles was awarded gold and bronze medals at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault before making her debut in 2011 at the top section of gymnastics competition. In less than two years, she was a dominant competitor in the sport. Biles stood out for her consistency in performance, vivacious personality as well as the difficulty of her routines in each of the four events including vault, bars with uneven surfaces, and balance beam.
